My name is Mary Brown, and I have spent over thirty years in the classroom reading and responding to writing. I hope to help you to polish and perfect your craft, too! I received my BS in Secondary Education and English from Indiana University Northwest and my Master’s in English from Denver University. Recently, I earned a Poynter ACES Introductory Certificate in Editing and I’ve attended webinars in editing hosted by the Editorial Freelancers Association. In addition, I have attended classes in creative writing with Sandcastle Writers.

My interests include reading and writing, yoga, watching television and movies, and good conversations with my husband and friends.
